You really can’t say the same about the likes of Ionesco, Genet or Havel. And then you have to look at the writers who’ve been influenced by him like Coetzee, Pinter obviously or Auster. And little ol’ me: two novels, a play, a short story and a handful of poems. Think I might’ve finally worked him out of my system.Jim Murdochhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12786388638146471193noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6327348657265652781.post-77363995867785883662014-12-10T19:08:28.697+00:002014-12-10T19:08:28.697+00:00When will he come?

That's what I mean.
Because he said he will come here now.
But he is not here.
Not yet.
So he will come?
He may come.
He may not come?
Indeed he may not.
May not?
May not.

I not Beckett unlike Beckett can write this stuff all day and sometimes read it all day. It's good that you keep him in the present. It would be a tragedy if he was lost for he is a prophet.

Gwil Whttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03305768121713053837noreply@blogger.com
